Joy Baldree, CEO

Joy began with NEWCorp in 2006 as the Principal of SIATech Gainesville.  She opened the first MYcroSchool in 2010 as a community school in Gainesville.  Joy has15 years in the traditional school system in Citrus County Schools.  She has been an English teacher, IT Specialist, Principal, Director, Chief Academic Officer, and is currently serving NEWCorp as Chief Executive Officer.

Danita Smith, CHRP

Danita began with NEWCorp in 2013 as the founding Principal of Citrus MYcroSchool.  She is most skilled in Instructional Leadership.  Danita spent time in the traditional school system in Citrus County Schools first as an English teacher, then as an as an Assistant Principal and Principal. Danita is currently working on her Doctorate.  Danita serves as the Chief of Human Resources and Program.

   Denise Castro, AM

Denise began with NEWCorp in 2015 as the Administrative Assistant for Citrus MYcroSchool.  Like Danita and Joy,  she spent many years in the Citrus County School system.  She currently serves NEWCorp as our Accounting Manager.  Denise keeps school finance flowing by handling Accounts Receivable and Payable.  She works as the Liaison between our finanacial management company and our schools. 

John Fuller, OD

John began with NEWCorp in 2018.  He is currently serving as our Operations Director and resident curriculum specialist. John began his teaching career in the first MYcroSchool then moved to SIATech as a Learning Support Specialist.  At MYcroSchool, he was recognized by the Governor of the State of Florida for his teaching abilities!

Adrian McCoy, ITD

Adrian  began with NEWCorp in 2011 and curremtly serves as NEWCorp's IT Director.   He was the IT Director at the Gainesville Job Corps Center prior to joining the NEWCorp team.  Arian served in the United States Military and he is currently working on network administrator certification.

Vivian Merriex, EA

Vivian began with NEWCorp in 2006 as the Administrative Assistant at SIATech Gainesville.  She recently retired from SIATech and joined the NEWCorp team as our Payroll Specialist.  Vivian is currently serving NEWCorp as our Executive Assistant.  Vivian manages the Governing Boards for NEWCorp and its schools and assists NEWCorp Staff where needed.
